ROOT CANAL
I had a root canal done yesterday and all I can say it OUCH!!!! It didn't hurt too bad yesterday (granted they gave me quite a few shots of novocaine and they gave me the gas), but it is painful today. But I am excited to be able to eat on that side of my mouth again very soon!!!
Obviously not me, but this is the contraption they put over your mouth and they clamp it around the tooth they are working on!!! Then they clean out the tooth and root, cleaning out nerves and blood vessels first. Then they clean out the infection, and then reshape the root of the tooth and disinfect it and then fill it up and put a filling on top. The proceedure itself wasn't bad and it only took an hour - and I am so glad it is over!!!! Next step will be to have a crown put on that tooth within the next few months! Can't wait :)

Ahhh...the rubber Dam!! Isn't it beautiful. I hate those things. They do keep my tongue under control though. And isn't it lovely if you have to go to the bathroom still wearing it. Yup...that happened to me twice, I think, at the dental school. You are pretty brave to take a picture of yourself. :)
YUCK that sucks! I hope you are feeling better now!!! I cant believe miss Kate is one! Holy cow what a beautiful little thing she is! I need to call you and tell you about AZ! Loved it! Miss you though lets get together soon!
