Our CRAZY life

So I know I have been blog slacking BIG TIME - and I am sorry for that. But our lives have been turned upside down lately. Ryan has been looking for a job for a few months now (since about April - he did some contract work for a few months in the middle) and we decided it was time for me to look for a job - so I have been working for the past month and that has been a big change for our family. I am now gone M-Th from 9-3 and Ryan is now taking care of the kids. It has been a good change for us though - it is nice that the kids are getting some quality time with their Dad!!! and they love it. But once I walk in the door, Kate is attached to my hip and I can't do anything without her right by my side or I'm holding her. If she finds that I am not in the same room, she screams and cries. But all in all, we are doing good.

On another note, Ryan just celebrated his 30th birthday (pictures to come soon) and we were able to go to the mountains to celebrate. Plus he went with to the Bronco's game (he loved it) with his good friends!!! Ryan is a seminary teacher. He teaches the freshman and loves it. Ryan is also preparing to take the GMAT next week - he is going back to school to get his MBA.

Jordan just finished his first real season of soccer and he absolutely LOVED it. He was by far the smallest on the team, but he would score at least 2 goals every game. I am doing a mommy preschool with two other amazing moms and Jordan loves to "go to school" and learn. He is learning to sound out letters and is learning by leaps and bounds.

Kate is now 1 1/2 and is in NURSERY!!!!! She is a firecracker and is ALWAYS on the go. She is very talkative and really starting to love when we read to her. She absolutely loves to dance!!! She is starting to love baby dolls and likes to tuck them into bed with her - so cute.

Well many of you might see something similar to this on our Christmas card, but I just wanted to send out an update on our family. I'll post photos later.

It is great for dad's to take care of their kids. Mike also was a "stay at home dad" for a while and Grant loved it. He had his own personal playmate with him all day.

I hope Ryan is ejoying every minute of it.

So many changes! I'm glad that you were able to get that job. It must be crazy being back in the workplace. It's exciting that Ryan is going back for his MBA. That will be a great thing for him to have. Good luck with the GMAT!
